About Jason Matloff
Jason Matloff has been writing about the entertainment industry for nearly two decades.
He was on staff at Premiere magazine for several years, where he put together oral histories of the Indiana Jones Trilogy, Ghostbusters, and Platoon. Matloff’s articles and interviews have appeared in The Los Angeles Times, Indiewire, Empire, The Boston Globe, Spin, and the Hollywood Reporter, among other publications. He is also the coauthor, alongside Spike Lee, of the Los Angeles Times Bestseller Spike Lee: Do the Right Thing, which features an extensive oral history of the making of the classic film.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Matloff graduated from the University of Southern California’s School of Cinema-Television. He currently lives in Manhattan with his wife and two kids.
